ELIGIBILITY:
For Schools—Team registration form should be submitted duly attested by the principal, Players to carry their school ID card on the day
of the match; After submission of the team list, player(s) names(s) cannot be changed without the written permission of SSFL Management.
NOTE:
For Under — 14: Players born in the year 2003 (on or after 1st Jan 2003)
For Under — 17: Players born in the year 2000 (on or after 1st Jan 2000)
School found with wrong declaration, will be debarred for a year and disqualified from the current league.
School team absent from the inauguration will be disqualified and will not be allowed to play.
RULES & GUIDELINES:
• Tournament shall be conducted as per the Law of the Games as specified by FIFA/AIFF, except where mentioned otherwise;
• The matches will be supervised by qualified Referees & their decision shall be final and binding;
• The tournament will be played on knock out cum league basis. Top teams from league stage will qualify for the Final Rounds.
• A coach and a Manager, shall strictly accompany the team and present during the match;
• Parents are not allowed on football field. If referee finds any parents distracting the game, player can be put out from the game;
• All players are required to be in proper football kit, (Jersey, Shorts, Stocking, Shin pad, Football studs etc.)
• The duration of the matches shall be 25-10-25 minutes for Under- 14 & 35-10-35 minutes for Under —17
• Teams should arrive 30 minutes before the kick-off. Any team not present at the given time shall be given maximum 5 minutes extra to take
the field, failing which the referee will award the match to the opposition team present with 3 points and 2 goals;
• A match can be abandoned/ cancelled by the referee due to any reason with the approval of SSFL;
• 5 Players for Under — 14 & Under — 17 with 2 officials shall be allowed sit on the substitute bench;
• In case both the teams are absent or do not have their minimum no. of players, no points shall be awarded to either side;
• The league matches, 3 points shall be awarded for a win, 1 point for a draw and no point for a defeat;
• Duplicate players registration form duly filled along with player photos need to be carried by Coach/Manager during SSFL matches.
• The team Ranking shall be determined in the order given below:-
a) Highest no. of points in all the matches;
b) If even this is the same, then the team having a higher goal difference, shall be placed higher;
c) If the goal difference is the same, the team with the higher no. of goals scored will be placed higher;
d) If this is the same, then head to head between the concerned teams;
e) If still the winner cannot be decided, then the ranking shall be decided by the toss of a coin/ taking lots.
• The players are requested to carry their meals and water during the matches.
PROTEST:
• All protest shall be submitted in writing with the documentary evidence to SSFL within 24 hours of the match ends with a non refundable protest fee of Rs. 5000/-;
• Only registered players shall be allowed to participate. Any team found fielding unregistered players will be disqualified from SSFL;
• The SSFL reserves final authority on all decisions.
CODE OF CONDUCT:-
• All the players/ coaches/ officials/ spectators shall behave in a manner, which is respectful to other and will not behave in any manner that goes against any team/ individual or in the interest of SSFL. SSFL reserves the right to disqualify any team/ individual found indulge in any such manner;
• All the participating teams and officials should behave in sportingly, following the Rules of the SSFL;
• The use of any foul language is not permitted and any use of such language/ violence/ intimidation against any referee /coach/official/organizations shall warrant an automatic disqualification of the offending person/team.
• The STAIRS organizing committee of SSFL reserves all rights regarding conduct of the SSFI- 2016 Gujarat.
